Studying Events Management

Many of you may be looking to get into Exhibition and Events Management and be keen to get involved with the industry. There are a few good books out there to read and to get an initial idea of what you can expect from a job in the exhibiton and events industry. On amazon.co.uk I can certainly recommend:

• Events Management by Glenn Bowdin et al
• Successful Event Management by Anton Shone

Another good option, particularly if time is an issue and if you need flexibility is Home Study is to study via a company such as GNT Home Learning with the Event Management Courses and which are done via self study, but with the support of a tutor. The course is a 120 course and results in an NCFE level 3 qualification.
