Guide to the RESOURCE IRELAND 2012 SHOW

Resource Ireland, held at the RDS in Dublin, is a combination of three different exhibitions, all geared towards adopting a sustainable approach to Ireland’s natural resources as well as to the resources which are used here. The Irish Water Exhibition, The Irish Recycling & Waste Exhibition and the Irish Sustainable Business Exhibition are all popular events in their own rights, but together they form the largest resource dedicated event in the country.

One of the key focuses of the resource Ireland Show is the change in European legislation in relation to climate change and general environmental management which have forced local authorities to adapt the manner in which they process their resources. By attending the show people can re affirm their understanding of these new legislations and understand the options open to them with regards to how to adapt to them. The networking opportunities available to visitors here are second to none in Ireland and encourage the continued growth and development of the sector. The expansive seminar programme provides a platform for people within each of the three sectors to discuss the current issues facing their sector and are also a great way to facilitate personal development.

Those attending the water exhibition will gain an insight to the latest developments in leakage control and source protection, whilst the waste exhibition comprehensively covers the various different strands of waste management which authorities are forced to manage, including the new technologies available to make these processes easier. The Sustainable Business exhibition is designed to help businesses become more environmentally sustainable in their day-to-day activities.
